Hudson-Sharp Introduces Rapid Close® Self-Seal Packaging System

GREEN BAY, Wis. — March 16, 2012 — Hudson-Sharp Machine Company, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of plastic bag making machinery, pouch making equipment, and reclosable packaging solutions, is pleased to introduce the newest patented form of flexible packaging — Rapid Close® self-seal bags. Using this new self-seal bag design and manufacturing technology, Hudson-Sharp can now provide a cost effective adhesive closure that can be used for a variety of flexible packaging applications. Rapid Close® enables the end-user to close a bag extremely fast, on the spot, and without the need for sealing equipment or mechanical systems.

The Rapid Close self-seal packaging system is made up of an advanced turn-key attachment designed to fit with existing unwind stands and bag machines. With options for either permanent or reclosable sealing, Rapid Close is designed to meet the needs for mailing/fulfillment, industrial products, food-service, produce, retail applications, and many more.
